Dear all HKACC members, The Fanny Li Youth Flying Scholarships Hong Kong Do you want to become a pilot? The Fanny Li Youth Flying Scholarship by GAPAN is now open for application. In the past few years, all the scholars of this flying scholarship has been awarded to our HKACC members and most of the scholars are now serving as an airline pilots in Hong Kong. As this scholarship offers all the fees for everything from your return air tickets to/from Scotland, accomodation, daily food expenses, flying training fees, books, learning equipment, etc, etc.. , you don't have to pay for anything to achieve your private pilot licence and an superb experience to stay in Dundee, Scotland for this coming summer 2012 (approx. 4-8 weeks depends on your flying progress.) The aim of this scholarship is to promote aviation in Hong Kong and create potential candidates to serve the aviation industry in Hong Kong. If you have a dream to become a pilot in Hong Kong, please don't miss this GOLDEN opportunity. The Selection: 1. The initial interview will be held in 2012 late January /early feb (after the chinese new year). This scholarship is no longer open to HKACC members only but also to the general public in Hong Kong. 2. The second stage will be an aptitude test conducted at either Dragon air / Cathay Pacific, this aptitude test is exactly the same test for cadet pilot screening. 3. The final stage is another interview with the GAPAN officials. 4. The actual Flying in Scotland will commence during your summer hoilday 2012. If you are aged above 16, you are eligible for this flying scholarship. Deadline for this scholarship application is on or before 25 Jan 2012.
